Triple bill of films starring Brad Pitt. In 'Meet Joe Black' (1998), media tycoon William Parrish (Anthony Hopkins) is approaching his 65th birthday when he encounters Death (Pitt) himself. Parrish is offered a few extra days of life if he allows the Grim Reaper into his home and, keen to finish off an important company merger, agrees, introducing his new guest to friends and family as Joe Black. Joe begins to fall in love with Parrish's daughter, Susan (Claire Forlani), who is engaged to Drew (Jake Weber), Parrish's deputy. When Parrish decides against the merger, Drew stages a boardroom coup and attempts to oust the tycoon. In the period drama 'Legends of the Fall' (1994), US Cavalry officer Colonel William Ludlow (Anthony Hopkins) takes early retirement after despairing of the Government's treatment of the Western Tribes. In the remote foothills of the Montana Rockies he builds a ranch where he brings up his three sons. When the youngest son Samuel (Henry Thomas) returns from the city with beautiful fiancée Susannah (Julia Ormond), she attracts the admiration of Alfred and Tristan, his two brothers (Pitt and Aidan Quinn). After one of their number is lost in the First World War, the surviving sons return home to rebuild their lives - and fight once more for Susannah's love. In 'The Devil's Own' (1997), senior IRA member Frankie McGuire (Pitt) arrives in New York on a mission to buy Stinger missiles. Using the alias 'Rory Devaney', he finds lodgings with NYPD cop Tom O'Meara (Harrison Ford) and his family. Despite liaising with fellow terrorists in New York to secure his deal, Frankie finds peace with Tom's family, and a strong bond begins to form between the two men.
