Collection of four classic camp movies. 'Some Like it Hot' (1959) is Billy Wilder's classic Oscar nominated comedy. In February 1929, unemployed musicians Joe (Tony Curtis) and Jerry (Jack Lemmon) go on the run after witnessing the St Valentine's Day Massacre. Pursued by gangsters, the duo are forced to disguise themselves as women and join Sweet Sue's all-girl band on the next train for Florida. Joe is attracted to Sugar Kane (Marilyn Monroe), the band's singer, while Jerry finds himself pursued enthusiastically by millionaire Osgood E. Fielding III (Joe E. Brown). Comic complications ensue. In 'The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert' (1994), Bernadette (Terence Stamp) is a middle-aged transsexual mourning the recent death of her lover. She embarks on a cabaret tour with two transvestite friends, Mitzi (Hugo Weaving) and Felicia (Guy Pearce) and together they set out for a professional engagement in Alice Springs in a gaudily painted bus they christen Priscilla. Along the way they encounter various macho characters - one of whom, Bob (Bill Hunter), begins to form a romantic attachment to Bernadette. In 'La Cage aux Folles' (1978), homosexual lovers (Ugo Tognazzi and Michel Serrault) have to masquerade as husband and 'wife' for the benefit of the straight son they have brought up. He is about to get married and his fiancée's ultra-conservative parents want to meet his 'parents'. The farce hots up when the boy's natural mother appears and the national media turns up outside the gay couple's drag joint. 'The Birdcage' (1996) is an American re-make of the 1978 film French film 'La Cage aux Folles'. Armand (Robin Williams) runs the Birdcage nightclub in Miami South Beach where his partner Albert (Nathan Lane) is the star drag act. When Armand's son announces his intention to marry the daughter of a right wing senator (Gene Hackman), and the in-laws arrive expecting to meet Armand and his wife, a grand farce ensues.
