Low-budget horror. Centuries ago, as the Spanish colonised South America, seven Jesuit priests agreed to stay behind and guard a gold mine until the Conquistadors could return. As the years passed and the Spanish soldiers did not appear, the priests grew old and died, and were mummified in the South American tradition. Now, in the present day, a new town has been built in the same spot. When the townsfolk inadvertently discover the mine, they release the mummified priests from their slumber, still determined to protect the gold from intruders.
