French comedy starring Daniel Auteuil. Antoine (Auteuil) works in a restaurant, and one night, on his way home from work, he spots Louis (José Garcia), a young man on the verge of suicide after a failed relationship. Antoine saves his life and decides to do everything he can to make Louis' life better. He intercepts a suicide note to his grandparents, gets Louis a job in his exclusive restaurant, and attempts to bring Louis back to his estranged ex-girlfriend. But then an unexpected twist of fate intervenes to throw Antoine's plans completely off track.
