The first six episodes of the animated children's series featuring the voice of Andrew Sachs. When the 'big ones' go upstairs to bed, the inhabitants in the kitchen, 'Salt', 'Pepper' and 'Herr von Cuckoo' discover a newly baked gingerbread man lying in a pastry cutter. With currants for eyes and a slice of cherry for a mouth, they bring their new friend to life.
