Elements of fairytale run through this Terry Gilliam-directed drama, which stars Jeff Bridges and Robin Williams. Arrogant radio host Jack Lucas (Bridges) is devastated when an off-hand remark on air prompts a man to gun down seven people in a wine bar; he turns to drink and hits the streets.
