Spiritual crime drama, starring Eric Roberts. Two brothers have ended up on very different paths in life, with John (David White) earning his keep as a small-time conman, while his brother Jeremiah (also White) is a minister. When John is threatened by his dangerous ex-partner Rome (Roberts) after leaving prison, he seeks refuge with Jeremiah. When Rome abducts the wrong twin, Jeremiah goes along with the mistake in the hope of saving his brother's life. John is forced into the position where he has to masquerade as a man of the cloth in order to keep the deception going. Both brothers are forced into an intense re-evaluation of their lives as they find themselves in very different circumstances.
