In series one, discarded fag ends are casusing the urinals to block up, tension mounts as the winner of the football sweepstake is announced, and Joan (Lorraine Cheshire) and Eddie (Mark Benton) celebrate their anniversary. In series two, forged banknotes start appearing in the pub, but who's responsible? While Duffy (Phil Mealey) faces up to single life, Ken (John Henshaw) the landlord begins to think about chucking the towel in, although he hasn't reckoned on the charms of Tanya (Susan Cookson) convincing him to keep the pub open.
