Sparky is an eight-year-old boy who hates to practice the piano. One day, the piano speaks to Sparky and tells him that if he pretends to play, then it will provide the music. Sparky is hailed as a child prodigy and he and his piano go on a large concert tour. However, the youngster becomes spoiled and is rude to everyone - including his piano. Then, one day, at a concert in front of a huge audience, the piano refuses to play. Sparky is frantic to regain his ability and fame, but was he imagining the magic piano all along?
