Bollywood action. Bandit, Mangal Singh (Amjad Khan) is arrested by police officer Shamsher Singh (Shammi Kapoor) but whilst in prison, his wife dies giving birth to a baby boy. Shamsher decides to adopt the baby, naming him Amit (Amitabh Bachnan). After 14 years in prison, Mangal is released and when he finds out about the adoption of his son, he vows to gain revenge on his captor.
