Teenager Mark Kendall (Jim Carrey) is desperate to lose his virginity to girlfriend Robin (Karen Kopins), but she would rather wait. Mark therefore proves easy meet for the Countess (Lauren Hutton), an attractive lady vampire who will start showing her age (four hundred years plus!) unless she drinks the blood of a virgin three times before the next Halloween. Mark does not prove hard to seduce, but when the night of passion is ended he can't help wondering why he feels a bit batty; once he discovers the truth, he starts searching for a way to break the Countess' spell before it is too late!
