Four episodes of the classic television western drama, following the trials and tribulations of the Cartwright family on their Ponderosa ranch during the 1860s. In 'The Gunmen', Joe (Michael Landon) and Hoss (Dan Blocker) are mistaken for outlaw gunslingers. In 'The Spanish Grant' a Spanish heiress starts a legal claim on a portion of land inside the Ponderosa ranch. 'Blood on the Land' sees the Cartwrights stuck for a solution to get a shepherd and his flock off their land, and finally in 'The Stranger' Ben (Lorne Greene) is arrested for a murder he may have committed twenty years ago in New Orleans.
