Triple-bill of classic horror films. Cult underground horror maestro Roger Corman directs 'Little Shop of Horrors' (1960), about downtrodden flower shop worker Seymour Krelboin (Jonathan Haze) who inadvertantly invents a new species of ravenous, man-eating plant. Forced to do its bidding, Krelboin soon turns to murder to keep it fed. 'The Bat' (1959) is set in a rambling, sinister mansion owned by a reclusive mystery novelist (Agnes Moorehead), where a deranged killer stalks the corridors, working his way through the guests. 'Bride of the Monster' (1955) is one of director Ed Wood's collaborations with Bela Lugosi, where Lugosi plays Eric Vornoff, a deranged scientist intent on creating his own army of atomic-powered supermen. When investigative reporter Janet Lawson (Loretta King) stumbles across Vornoff's laboratory, Vornoff's monstrous assistant Lobo (Tor Johnson) falls in love with her and refuses to let Vornoff use her in his experiments. In the chaotic stand-off Vornoff is irradiated by his own machines, eventually being destroyed by the gigantic octopus he used to menace his victims.
