A remake of the hit Danish film 'Klatret¢sen'. Twelve-year old Maddy (Kristen Stewart) is an incredibly skilled mountain climber, a talent that runs in the family: her father Tom (Sam Robards) was a mountaineer who scaled Everest. But since a bad fall, Tom is paralysed from the neck down. His only hope of recovery is a pioneering new operation that costs a quarter of a million dollars - and is not available on his health insurance.
