Saddle up again with Billy Crystal and his city friends as they head out West in search of some buried gold. It seems that you can't keep a good (or bad) man down, as Mitch (Crystal) is confronted by what he believes to be the ghost of Curly (Jack Palance), who died in the first film. It transpires that Curly had a long lost brother, Duke, who knows about Curly's secret haul of gold. Mitch soon succumbs to gold fever and along with buddy Phil (Daniel Stern) and brother Glen (John Lovitz), sets out to find it.
