Corrupt North Dakota prison warden The Swede (Marlon Brando) tricks a couple of none-too-bright loafers, Bud (Charlie Sheen) and Larry (Thomas Haden Church), into marrying his daughters and then proceeds to terrorise them with his random outbursts. Eager to get away from their maniacal father-in-law, Bud and Larry plan to rob a money train and thereby get the money they need to escape his clutches. But the robbery goes wrong, and the hapless duo soon end up as inmates in The Swede's prison, fearing whatever bizarre retribution he intends to inflict upon them.
