Paul Martin (Udo Kier), a successful young writer, retreats to the country to complete his second novel. However, when he arrives he suffers unpleasant nightmares and is troubled by his mysterious and alluring secretary Linda (Linda Hayden). The arrival of his girlfriend Suzanne (Fiona Richmond) fails to break the spell Linda holds over Paul, and in fact only helps things become more twisted.
