Jackie Chan stars as a volatile Hong Kong policeman, who finds himself incapable of standing aside when the druglord Mr Ku he has brought to book walks free from court on a technicality. Assigned to protect Ku's secretary Selina (Brigitte Lin), Jackie is soon framed for the death of a fellow cop who was on the take from Ku's organisation, and must deploy all of his violent streetsmart to prove his innocence. The film features many notoriously dangerous stunts, choreographed and directed by Chan himself.
